Two annual installations, with refined, notable evolution
Opinel, a long-standing customer, asked our team to produce its exhibition booths for the Maison & Objet show. In the exhibition world, visual competition is tough and the challenge is to be seen. Expace and Opinel decided to work on a permanent, modular and scalable concept: the fundamental “blue Opinel and oak” codes remaining the highlights of the overall design. Each product universe is clearly identified and its atmosphere – an established design – is exploited with each exhibition. The number of modules adapts to the surface area available. The reception area – with its bespoke-furnished, farmhouse table type atmosphere – offers an authentic welcome. In terms of logistics, Expace manages storage of the elements to optimise future installations.

Authenticity, lifestyle and modernity cleverly combined
At each exhibition, new products are presented with new modules.
The 1850 forged collection was the highlight of this edition. The limited height available forced our designers to apply all their creative skills to organise coherent, visible volumes. Indirect lighting to enhance the products, giant visuals to attract visitors’ attention… The simple, natural design, with its pop-up shop atmosphere and maximal openness on three sides, created a feeling of proximity and complicity with the brand.
